Location is very nice, in the center of Van city. Breakfast was very nice with all the regular turkish breakfast plus an ommelete stand. They also serve that tasty Van honey on breakfast, definetely must try! Rooms are quite big, tv's are flat plasma (albeit small one) with a coupe of english channel. Definetely pick this one if you go in Van. Avoid the dreadfull Yakuit Hotel.
The man on the reception / front office could be a little nicer and more responsive. Funny thing is when they try to debit my credit card, they would do it Turkish lira TL instead of EURO, with an exchange rate of 1 Euro = 2.3 TL. Fortunately, their machine was broke so I had to pay cash. I paid in Euro, and they convert the change with turkish Lira with a convertion rate of 1 Euro = 2.1 TL. What a cheat! While the money involve was not substantial but nevertheless, it left me with a very bad impression. The hotel is still recommended though!
